Equip AS was founded by Pat Lam Thorstad (Civil Engineer, EPA) and Andreas Sætre Hanssen (Lawyer). We believe that intellectual property (IP) can be made smarter.

Pat has a background from NTNU, the Norwegian Patent Office, leading patent offices and as Innovation & IP Manager at Brav AS. He combines IP expertise with experience from product development, entrepreneurship and industry.

Andreas has 15 years of experience as a lawyer, of which over 10 years in IP. He has worked at the Norwegian Patent Office and as a partner in Norway's largest IP firm. With cutting-edge legal expertise and market understanding, he helps clients build lasting competitive advantages.
